I have finally figured it out. Dolly Parton is who I want to be when I grow up. Beautiful inside and out - she is witty, sassy, and always knows her worth. Her kindness and empathy knows no bounds. Dolly is lyrical sunshine in human form, radiating the type of good energy I aspire to create. 

To me, Dolly Parton is THE role model and has the moral clarity of a saint. So sometimes, when I have a dilemma, I think to myself What Would Dolly Do? She would first start from a place of kindness and empathy. She would value her roots and stand by her community. Dolly would also make people feel appreciated, not belittled. She would be humble enough to apologize when needed and make things right.

I want this world to be a better place. I am going to challenge myself this week to be more like Dolly. In fact, let’s all do what Dolly does and create more sunshine. We could certainly use it. It won’t happen unless we make it ourselves. I’m ready. Will you join me?
